IV Bisphosphonate (Aclasta) Infusion

Mitcham Private Hospital is pleased to offer IV bisphosphonate (Aclasta) infusion for the treatment of osteoporosis and hypercalcaemia. This treatment is administered as a day procedure, taking approximately 30 minutes, under the guidance of our endocrinologist. 

To proceed with treatment, your referring doctor must:

• Complete the referral form 
• Arrange a blood test to ensure the infusion is safe and appropriate for you

Once your referral is received, our team will contact you directly to schedule an appointment.

Please ensure you are feeling well on the day of your infusion. If you are unwell or need to reschedule, contact us as soon as possible.
