Maternity Class Update

The safety of our patients, staff, visitors, and doctors is always our top priority. We have been proactively planning and implementing a comprehensive response to the evolving COVID-19 situation in Australia. In light of recent developments, a decision has been made to postpone our becoming a grandparent classes for the time being. We will provide an update with new information in the coming weeks. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Selected Monday Afternoons

Classes run from 4.30 pm – 6.30 pm

This class is an opportunity to welcome our new grandparents to Mitcham Private Hospital.

Topics include:

• Trends and changes in pregnancy care and birth
• Roles and expectations of grandparents
• SIDS and Kids Guidelines
• How to support the new parents in this transition to parenthood
• Tour of the maternity ward
