Mitcham Private Hospital would like to introduce Mr Lih-Ming Wong, urologist with sub-specialty interest and training in uro-oncology.

A graduate of Melbourne University, Ming completed his urology training in Victoria. Subsequently, he spent one year in Addenbrookes Hospital Cambridge, and two years at Princess Margaret Hospital Toronto for further uro-oncology fellowship training. During this time, Ming gained experience in robotic assisted surgery and managing complex urological cancer cases.

In addition to his uro-oncology interests, Ming is comfortable managing men with lower urinary tract symptoms and urinary tract stones. For men with difficulties voiding, Ming can offer the Urolift procedure, Greenlight laser prostate vaporisation in addition to standard TURP.

Ming also has an interest in research and training. He has completed a Masters of Surgery and submitted his thesis for a Doctor of Medical Science. At St Vincent’s, Ming is the Head of Urology Clinic, Supervisor for Education and Training and is involved with University through medical student teaching and the scholarly selective student program.
