Mitcham Private Hospital is pleased to introduce Dr Murad Ibrahim, respiratory and sleep medicine physician. Dr Ibrahim completed most of his training at the Austin Hospital where he holds a public appointment in respiratory and sleep medicine, including the Victorian Respiratory Support Services (VRSS). He also works at Maroondah Hospital in the same specialties.
As an honorary lecturer at Melbourne University, Dr Ibrahim is actively involved in teaching and is conducting research on chronic non-invasive ventilation for his MD degree.
At Mitcham Private Hospital, Dr Ibrahim is the medical director of the Sleep Laboratory and is experienced in managing complex sleep disorders and performing bi-level ventilation sleep studies. He is available for inpatient care and provides regular bronchoscopy services as needed.
Dr. Ibrahim's additional skills include adult resuscitation and peri-operative medicine, stemming from his intensive care and anaesthesia training.
