Dr Tejas Doctor

Mitcham Private Hospital would like to introduce Dr Tejas Doctor a neonatologist and general paediatrician.

Tejas has over 19 years experience in neonatal and paediatric care, gained whilst working across several different hospitals and health networks both in Australia and India and welcomes referrals from GPs for all aspects of Neonatal and Paediatric health.

Tejas trained at the Women and Children hospital Adelaide, Royal Hobart Hospital, Monash Medical Centre, Mercy Hospital for Women, Box hill Hospital and the Northern Hospital before receiving (FRACP neonatal and Perinatal medicine and FRACP general paediatrics) in 2016 and 2019.

He has a public appointment at Northern Health in both the neonatal and paediatric units. He has a diverse background in neonatal and general paediatrics and enjoys growth and development of new born babies including expreterms. Tejas thoroughly enjoys the relationship he gains from dealing with both children and their parents. His first objective is to make sure the parents are always well informed whilst addressing their child’s health and welfare. He prides himself on giving different options for each child’s individual needs along with a very high standard of care.
