Mitcham Hospital is pleased to introduce Dr Kylie Sustar, an obstetrician and gynaecologist known for her dedication, compassion, and patient centered approach. She is committed to empowering women with knowledge and ensuring they are actively involved in their care. Kylie strives to simplify complex medical issues, providing clarity and reassurance to her patients and their families.
Kylie received extensive training at leading Melbourne hospitals, including Mercy Hospital for Women and The Royal Women’s Hospital. She has also gained valuable experience in paediatric and adolescent gynaecology through her work at The Royal Children’s Hospital and in pre-conception counselling and infertility, holding a Master of Reproductive Medicine from UNSW.
Passionate about ongoing learning, Kylie stays at the forefront of clinical advancements by attending international conferences and maintaining active membership with key specialist bodies. She also contributes to medical education as a Staff Specialist at Eastern Health, mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Kylie has a particular interest in minimally invasive surgery for benign conditions to enhance patient satisfaction, recovery and outcomes.
