Dr Denise Koong completed her medical degree at the University of Western Australia in 1988. She attained her specialist degree as a Fellow of the RANZCOG in 1999 having gained experience in obstetrics and yynaecology in Perth, United Kingdom and completing her training at Box Hill Hospital, Monash Medical Centre and The Northern Hospital in Melbourne.
Denise has been working as a gynaecologist (and obstetrician until 2003) in both private practice and at Box Hill Hospital since 1999. She provides care in many areas of general gynaecology including colposcopy (& management of abnormal Pap smears), laparoscopic surgery, management of menstrual disorders, contraception, menopause, prolapse as well as management of fibroids and endometriosis.
Denise consults privately at Eastern Gynaecology in Mitcham but also has consulting sessions at Manningham Medical Centre. She has a public hospital appointment at Box Hill Hospital as a consultant specialist.
