Dr Ross Balson is a gastroenterologist and hepatologist having practiced in the Eastern Suburbs since completing his training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital in 1994.
In 2005, he worked at St. Thomas' hospital in London where he trained in EUS (endoscopic ultrasound) a specialised procedure used in the staging and diagnosis of cancer.
He has a particular interest in bowel cancer screening and prevention through colonoscopy and is an approved colonoscopist of the National Bowel Cancer screening program.
