What to bring to hospital For labour • Camera (as well as batteries, chargers and memory cards) • Comfortable clothing and slip on footwear for afterwards • Favourite music (iPod docking stations are available in our Birthing Suites and Maternity Ward) • Laptop if desired. Wi-Fi access is available on request • Lip balm • Magazines/book • Oil/lotion for massage • Preferred snacks • Sarong, or old t-shirt • Spray bottle (non aerosol) for cooling • Sweets/lollies • Warm socks For mum • Night attire • Casual clothes (optional) • Personal toiletries (soap, shampoo etc.) • Maternity/super size pads (3 pack) • Breast pads (1 pack) • 3 maternity bras/maternity crop tops • Tri-pillow (if desired) • Pen • Alarm clock/watch • Tissues For your baby • Baby outfits (5-6) • Baby singlets (5-6) • Cotton bunny rugs (5-6) • Baby wipes • Cotton wool balls • Feeding formula (if bottle feeding) • One bassinet blanket * Please read our privacy policy regarding camera and video use on page 11. Visiting hours 3.00am – 4.00pm 7.00pm – 8.00pm Rest period 1.00pm – 3.00pm Ward not open until 3.00pm We encourage you to monitor the number of visitors and the length of time they stay to prevent you from becoming excessively tired. If you require privacy at any time, we will kindly direct your visitors to the lounge area or the coffee shop.
